Armstrong’s Heating and Cooling was founded in May of 2017, but many years prior is where our story begins. Owner, Bart Armstrong has worked in the field of HVAC for over 20 years. Bart obtained certifications from Hillyard Technical Center for Soldering, Brazing and Electrical Controls in 2002 and HVAC and Refrigeration in 2003.
Bart has both firsthand knowledge and field experience servicing, repairing, and installing equipment; along with experience working for vendor services supplying companies with HVAC equipment. Bart returned to the classroom in 2016 and obtained his Master Mechanical License then soon after Armstrong’s Heating and Cooling opened its doors.
In 2018, Hunter Armstrong joined the team while still in high school during his summer breaks and began learning the ropes. During this time, Hunter was also attending Hillyard Technical Center working on his HVAC certifications. Upon his graduation in 2020, Hunter took on full-time employment status and currently works as a lead installer with ambition to one day take over the family business his father pioneered.
Armstrong’s a proud member of the St. Joseph downtown association and a member of the chamber!
